Dear Friends of the Alliance,

You have, no doubt, heard the ancient curse, "May you live in interesting times." Well, please don't take any offense when I say, "We do live in interesting times."

 

Before our very eyes, the lines are being drawn. And you need to know where, because they're crossing the threshold of the family home. Below is some disturbing news about how "interesting" our times are.

 

But hold on! The best news is when people decide not to settle for what the times hold for them, and do something else. A bright spot right now is the movement within the Southern Baptist Convention toward providing education alternatives at a much greater rate; what one of their leadership called their "exit strategy" from government schooling.
