2007 New Hampshire Liberty Forum

by Alan Schaeffer, President
Pictures from Free State Project

Everything the Free State Project (and other organizations like them) fights for is being undone as the next generation enters government school.  As always, my priority in meeting with organizations like the Free State Project is to elevate the issue of education in their catalog of concerns.  It's working!

Alan Schaeffer on the Education Panel

"Now where the heck did that come from?"  Panel Moderator Gardner Goldsmith expresses bewilderment that the governor of their freedom-loving state is trying to promote the universal right to college education.

My response:  "This is not happening only in your home-state of New Hampshire.  It's happening all at once everywhere in the country because of the collegial nature of politics.  Simply put, it's peer pressure.  Now where do you think they learned that, government school perhaps?"

They got it!  They want more!

Other familiar faces - friends and relatives in high places.

Varrin Swearingen, President of Free State Project.

Jim Babka, Downsizing DC.

Keynote Speaker, John Stossel.

Presidential Candidate, Ron Paul.  Dr. Paul announced his exploration of presidential candidacy at this gathering.

This is obviously a place where things are happening.
