Marshall Fritz Bucket List
I'm terminal. So are you.
We need to sort out what's important and get it done. My diagnosis on Sunday, February 17, 2008 that I have inoperable stage IV pancreatic cancer has been a gift that has helped me focus on what I need to get done.
The pages at this site are pretty much the way Marshall created them - with minor changes to update information and get rid of those pesky formatting errors that annoyed Marshall.
We hope you will get inspiration from Marshall's words as he faced his biggest challenge - a challenge he met with faith and grace.
We will maintain this site so Marshall's family and friends can view the stories and tributes posted in his Guest book.

Marshall Fritz passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2008, after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
Marshall was a true friend and mentor. That's what he's been to me. Even during the last days of his life, when I was privileged to spend some time with him, he set an example of a life well-lived and considered.
And now, I say to Marshall, as he would often say to those he cared about: "Goodbye, my friend."

Welcome!
Please don't pity me! I'm having the time of my life deciding what good things I can do for family, friends, and even total strangers now that "time is short" is vividly in my mind. In fact, try to find some meaning in this silly quip (with apologies to Groucho Marx):
If I'd known how much fun it is to plan for my impending demise,
I'd have started this dying thingie a lot sooner.
